Entry into fashion

He moved to New York through Ford in 1997 and joined IMG in September 1998. These changes marked expansion from a regional to an international market.[2]

Creative partnership

Campaigns ranged from minimalist tailoring to more expressive fashion. The breadth of clients indicates adaptability across different commercial messages. Clients included Jil Sander, DKNY, Hugo Boss, Moschino and Emporio Armani. The range of their clothing required him to create different characters, combining bodily lines and approachable expression according to the product.[2][3]

Defining work

Editorials for leading fashion titles, including work with Steven Klein, demanded more experimental characters alongside his commercial image.[2][3][4]

Changing direction

Dated 2010s work includes Calvin Klein with Lara Stone, Details, Banana Republic and a Simons lookbook. Editorial and retail formats used related skills for different purposes. The Calvin Klein Collection campaign with Stone dates to 2012, followed by Details and Banana Republic work in 2013. A Simons lookbook placed different designers’ clothes on the same model for comparison.[3][5]

Later career

Man About Town’s Winter 2018/Spring 2019 cover and Versace’s March 2023 Los Angeles show provide specific later-career records.[2][4]

Legacy

January and March 2025 editorial credits document continued work. His career is best assessed through sustained production and collaboration rather than celebrity exposure alone. Those later credits are U Repubblica in January and CR Fashion Book in March. The arc from a teenage regional model to collaborations with different generations of photographers is visible in the actual productions, even without continual coverage of his private life.[2]
